So I am scheduled for a CI Poly in August and I have not had one before so my question is how difficult is it to pass?
It’s easier to pass a CI-polygraph than it is a full-scope polygraph because polygraph operators understand that there are very few spies, and as a policy matter, they cannot afford to flunk a large percentage of those submitting to CI-scope polygraphs. In the early years of this century, it was in fact possible to pass DoD’s CI-scope polygraph simply by not making any substantive admissions.
