There is no general federal expungement statute… Federal law treats state relief mechanisms (i.e. pardons, civil right restoration, expungement, sealing, set-aside) inconsistently.

For the SF86 reporting, as far as I can tell, there isn’t an expungement situation that can keep an issue from being reported if in the coverage period- one year, seven years, 10 years or ever.
