Investigators vs. Coronavirus

I thought they opened this up and all can be done now by phone?

I’m pretty sure a lot can be done by phone now. I’ve even spoken on the phone twice with the adjudicator on my PR.

Yes, the policy has been updated since that time.

A year later, how’s everyone doing? Wow what a whirlwind year! I just resigned from investigations last week- for now. I needed to switch gears as I got really burned out. I went back to running PIV enrollment office. I’m the only employee there but it’s nice to be anywhere but at home 24/7. City finally back open but many still on tele-work. Being stuck inside 13 months with 2 teenagers was as a real experience. Hope everyone is doing well!

Been a little over a year since I left the job as an investigator. It’s been pretty crazy for me, I earned numerous IT certifications along with a whole bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity and information assurance. Since leaving Perspecta, I was able to double my income, so I’m definitely a lot happier and less stressed.

I do miss the job sometimes but the only way I would go back and do it would be as a fed and not a contractor
