What effect, if any, does the subject’s locale have on the general timeliness of the clearance process from start to finish? Would an area in particularly high demand of clearance jobs cause the process to take longer? Or due to this demand, would the government prioritize cases in these areas? I live and work in an area with one of the largest military bases in the country and that employs a large amount (50k+) of government personnel. Asking for DoD in particular. Thanks
I think they all run about the same time as there are other gatekeepers moving their packages around the system as well. Yours might wrap up the BI fast. But still sit somewhere. Others may take far longer…but not sit anywhere along the way.
