# Security Clearance sent to DOHA

I had an Interim-Secret clearance and it has changed to Declination by the DoD CAF . Its now sent to DOHA for an administrative judge to decide whether I get the secret clearance or not. I filled the SOR and sent it back to them requesting a Hearing.

My Question:

1. If I quit my current job will my security clearance application process be canceled?

2. I have a new job and the job requires me to have a secret level clearance, so they sent me an EQip application to fill. Will this resume my clearance process from my old job or will they start the process from scratch again?

If you do not follow through with your appeal then the denial decision becomes final. You will not be eligible for a position that requires a clearance for a year from the denial date.
