Standard process question.

Do investigators automatically pull your military medical records for a secret clearance? or only do it if you indicated you had treatment for a condition the form specifically asked about? And yes I understand you sign a waver and that they can. But I am not asking can they, I am why and do they?

clearance process requires obtaining information from certain activities. these are done automatically. Developed issues are always covered because they were not reported.

What do you mean by “devolved issues”?

Developed - as in if the BI talks to a reference and they disclose that you received treatment. That will trigger the BI to interview you again (SPIN/ESI) and pull all applicable records.
