TS/SCI timeline: Submitted SF86: 8/23 Interim ts: 10/23 Interview with investigator: 4/24 Granted ts: 7/24 Submitted updated SF86: 8/24 Poly: 9/24 I receive updates about once a month and last I heard I’m in the security crossover process, and basically just waiting for the government customer to sign me onto the program. ---

TS/SCI FS Timeline (still in progress): Applied: 11/23 Interview: 11/23 CJO: 12/23 SF86: 1/24 SF86 again + accepted: 2/24 Poly/Psych Request: 5/24 Poly/Psych (poly 2 times): 8/24 yawn Supposedly I am still processing with psych… Called the hotline last week and they said my file was not yet finished with their department. No idea what they are doing but it is extremely slow. ---

Was just notified I was discontinued from processing… I dont even know what to do now. I was setting up the pieces around this eventually working out but now at the least I have to wait another year. Not sure how much more I can take trying to seek employment with this agency, as I’ve already burned almost 1.5 years and now I am told to wait another just to repeat the process ---

Damn man, sorry to hear that. Try other agencies maybe? I dont think that particular agency has their ■■■■ together. Keep your head up, plenty of opportunities outside of that one agency, my friend. ---

Didn’t you already get granted secret? You should be able to use that for another job for the time being. Agencies are going to be on hiring freezes till at least Spring of 2025. ---

I was, which is why I believe I was denied due to suitability with the agency. I assume they would’ve had access to all my investigative work when they were adjudicating me for secret. ---

IC agencies had a carve out for exceptions the last time this administration took office in 2017, from what I have read online. I would hope that remains the case this time too. ---
