The use of [illegal drugs](https://news.clearancejobs.com/2018/06/02/marijuana-use-and-your-security-clearance/) (under Federal law) is a sure-fire way to lose eligibility for a security clearance, especially if you already have one. I have an employee waiting on adjudication now for a onetime use of. So he claims. Time has passed, he sat for 2 Poly’s and an interview. It will be interesting to see what happens with this one. I absolutely agree the deception and only revealing it during the Poly works against you.
