An FBI contractor offered me a job last year, contingent on my getting a TS/SCI. In early September, I learned my TS application was approved. But the contractor said the FBI still has to approve me to work on a contract. I asked if that was largely a formality, and the contractor said it was. A couple weeks have passed without any progress. Should I expect to wait much longer?
2-6 weeks for client approval normally. If you are still in that window I wouldn’t worry.
