I think you missed the point I was trying to make. I do have the appropriate clearances for unescorted access; however, if I wanted to be staff at one of those agencies, I would need to go through another rather long investigation and adjudication. The result of all the additional clearance work would result in me having access to the same material/compartments I already have. That was what I intended to convey.
Ahhhh, that was not clear. Technically no. Lets assume you are a contractor cutting grass with a TS Full Scope poly, recent BI. You perform on a cleared compound. Yes they really have them. You may be completing school or other things in life. Then you wish to join the client on the government side. You simply apply on their web site and wait. If they read the resume and want to pursue you⦠interview, get a chance to discuss your affiliation and clearanceā¦they verify clearance and BI datesā¦if they want to hire you, they use whatever is still in scope, repeat whatever needs repeating, or simply cross you over lock, stock and barrel to government from contract side. Happens all the time. You need not start at zero all over again. Happens all the time.
Some years back I was a slimy filthy blood-sucking money-grubbing contractor working for one of the IC agencies, but not on-site. When I went to go see the customer or attend a meeting, they gave me a no-escort badge. BUT I had to have a visit request and I could not log on to their computers. If I required that, I would have had to go through another rather long investigation and adjudication. To coin a phrase.
Why would you need to āsettleā with an employee who defrauded you? Isnāt that a criminal, not civil, matter? It seems to me as if there must be more to this situation.
An account which was partially settled with a creditor is still reflected negatively on a credit report.
Ahh yes us slimy contractorsā¦
The truth comes out! LOL
