Anyone doing 1099 work registered a business license ? If so what was the process and benefits?
LLC required by Peraton for independent contractors for several years now. Easy online setup - $75?? (can’t recall the details) and annual State filing required. Had to set up a different bank account, too. Single member LLC files on a Sched C, so nothing changed really. Just remember when updating SF86 who you work for (the LLC, not the company).
