Can you pass a T5 but be denied a secret based on a T5?
what would disqualify you from a secret or a top secret would normally disqualify you from the other.
Example, you can’t get a TS so they give you a secret - it doesn’t happen. If you had a secret then was declined a TS (for most reasons, they are exceptions because of access requirements) then you would lose your secret.
The investigation type (T5 vs T3) is how intense the feds are willing to dig to look for adjudicative concerns.
