We are into February already and the Defense Office of Hearing and Appeals has only decided on ten clearance denial cases thus far. Of those ten, eight of the cases involved financial issues, three had personal conduct issues, and one had drug involvement. As has been the trend, the decisions showed that overextending yourself financially and/or not taking reasonable steps to resolve the debts will result in a clearance denial.
