Can Tier 1 background check be considered as Public Trust clearance? I heard that Tier 1 isn’t clearance it just mere to have access to Computer and CAC?
Any explanation?
Tier 1 is non-sensitive position. Not a public trust or a clearance. It’s the government’s basic background investigation, and is essentially a glorified records check.
