How about a clearance to empty trash cans. Phoenix rehabilitation provides custodial on some bases. Those subject interviews are delightful. Had one that took 5 hours because of so many issues.

Ya! So are the T3’s for Coast Guard Chefs. Painful. What kind of ‘recipes’ do these guys get access to that require a clearance anyway?
USCG personnel serve on Cutters that are packed full of high tech electronic equipment that requires clearances to be around. In addition USCG personnel are cross trained.
T3 is the default investigation for military recruits, whether or not they require a clearance. Previously they needed a NACLC or possibly a ANACI for initial entry.
