30 years cleared - 1 blip on current SPR

Hello all.

Just found this medium after a long time away.

History
Army vet SCI Cleared
1999 - DoD/IC Contractor SCI/SAP Cleared
2011 - mom passed.
2013 - divorce starts
2014 - divorce final
2014 - Lost contract job - politics (performance)
2015 - start new cleared contract job
2018 - dad passed
2014-2017 - financial issue
2019 - financial issue resolved
2021 - converted to CIV
2021 - Remarried
2025 - SPR submitted detailing issue, adjudication pending

Anxious to get an idea of positive or negative adjudication propensity. I was and am a responsible person. Poly’d many times for program access. No issues. Exceeds excellence or other high ratings. Will CAF see this as a blip or will they drop the hammer.

Any insight you could provide is greatly appreciated.

I don’t think it is a question of it being seen as a blip… looking at your history, clearly this was a one-time thing. But they may get really picky when it comes to scrutinizing your current finances to make sure it was a blip.

See if the adjudicator reaches out for more info regarding the financial issue. Yeah it has been a few years but one time they wanted me to provide tax records that went back beyond the point where the IRS keeps them! Adjudicator may reach out directly or an investigator may get the job.

SPR? Something Periodic Reinvestigation? Converted to CIV… mean you became a civilian federal employee?
