Adverse findings in a non security clearance job

morning to all i have just found out that a past employer gave an adverse finding in a job that i was laid off,(part time sale person) i was terminated a seasonal employee but when the my back ground check has found that i was terminated for misconduct. my security job has “not applicable” for security clearance. it gave rise to serious suitability. what are my chances to be cleared from that charge when i did not committed that alleged finding.In the investigation the human resorce personel fron that store told the investigator that the file could not be provided
