It is what it is I guess! Better luck to all of y’all!

I had the same happen to me in the dashboard but when I reached out for clarification, I was told that they just removed me from the dashboard queue, everything was still in progress. You may want to reach out to your Recruiter and see.

Oh man, you’re giving me a glimmer of hope here lol. Did you reach out to the CCL managers or your recruiter? (My recruiter hasn’t reached out since I was placed on the CCL).

Thank you for the feedback!

Same here - the state on the dashboard doesn’t mean anything.

I would definitely reach out to your point of contact before writing it off. The status on the dashboard might not accurately reflect your status.

I was never notified that I was put on CCL. I reached out to my recruiter, and I had the contact for the hiring manager for the group I’m still waiting to be added to. Both confirmed the same thing.

To add another data point, this was my experience as well when I as processing for that agency.

My understanding is that NSA and most (if not all) IC agencies met their targets with voluntary departures, people leaving on their own, and hiring freezes.

Could we end up going through this whole nutroll again in a year or two? It cannot be ruled out.

I have heard there may be some “restructuring” which may force people out of their comfort zone (ie that office you’ve been working in for 20 years is going away) but this is not supposed to be a RIF.

As @sbusquirrel said in another reply, they have met and did exceed their number for reducing the force.

With that said, this has also enabled the hiring to quicken for 2026 hiring initiatives. The timeline from hire to receiving an FJO should be about 6- 9 months now. For me previously it took 14 months. There are specific job postings, just as there always were… sometimes only 4 or 5, and other times 10 are there. But this all geared for 2026 workforce, and possibly entry for 2027.

And for my situation, I have confirmed recently that I am still pending and the wait is for the official word on the hiring freeze to end. So I am in the “hurry up and wait” line.
