The hiring freeze EO in January or the extended one?
So you got the same message that I posted back in July a few days ago? If so, you likely got hit by the hiring freeze. That place is absolutely not hiring even though they are claiming they are.
Agree. Normally they tell you if you are in fact a suitability concern to wait a certain number of months. Given everyone seems to be getting the same message, something is certainly amiss. I quite frankly don’t know why they are even wasting all of our time, but I guess the people at Dulles need something to do - given they’ve already been given a budget.
I have heard some folks have started receiving phone calls back, but now with the government shut down…who knows what impacts that will have.
It’s sadly a total mess. I believe in getting our fiscal house in order and absolutely cutting bloat, but they should be doing this a lot better. We are still Americans at the end of the day, who are applying, and were willing to go and serve.

You’re telling me we all just happened to have lost offers in July and that’s not related? Seems very unlikely.
I’m aligned with this message.
I did get a call back after my offer was pulled, what is even odder is I was told I could apply to any other job just not that job, at any time. Isn’t that bizarre?
