DRP and RIFs Make Current and Former Clearance Holders Ripe for Recruitment

Take the Central Intelligence Agency as an example; last month they terminated 51 career intelligence officers who were serving on details related to recruitment. Many of these fired employees may now be desperately looking for other employment, which makes them a target for recruitment.

I would hope having the highest clearance and access one can get in the federal government, would be desirable to other agencies or defense contractors, making them less desperate.
