Hello, I am currently a contractor with the DHS with a position that requried me to pass High Risk Public Trust background determiniation. I have passed this, and I started about 6 months ago.

I recently received a TPO (temporary civil stalking protection order, or restraining order) from an ex-gf, which may last for up to 5 years. Will this affect my current Public Trust determination, and how often do they re-evaluate me for this determination?

For high risk PT, I believe you are required to report it. I can’t say how it will impact your PT status. But I can say it will be a negative impact if you don’t report it.
