Currently looking for a new job since my contract with the current one is ending soon. I took the CI poly with a fed gov agency. If I move to another company’s job that requires a TS SCI with CI poly will the CI poly transfer over or would I have to take it again? I was told by the polygrapher it would be good for 5 yrs but I’ve been told different by some coworkers.
If the new position requires that clearance, they will cross you over with it. Clearances dont really travel with a person. Its the seat/slot/manpower document associated with the position actually requiring a person with clearance eligibility.
