What happens to my CI poly?

Hi all- I currently have a clearance with a CI poly and and just accepted a job that only requires the clearance. What happens to my CI poly? Is that still good should I want to move to another job that requires it, or will I have to re-do the CI poly?

I know if your clearance is not active for two years, you have to start back at square one, but unsure if polygraphs work the same way and can’t find anything online. Thanks!

Your CI poly will still be on file with the agency that administered it. If you go back to work for that agency or for a contractor working for that agency, then you should be good for five years from the date of the poly (more or less).

If you go for a position with another agency, then it may be accepted, it may not.
