The one in VA is still hiring I had recommended a close friend after I got my eod for July and they applied in Jan and got the call to start processing last week. So not doom and gloom there. I also got sent my benefits paperwork in the middle of craziness and offer hasn’t been rescinded so cross fingers that it doesn’t

This is really good to hear! Thanks for sharing and congratulations! May I ask how long roughly it took after you got the benefit paperwork to get the FJO/EOD? I got the paperwork mid-December and no news since. Thanks again and fingers crossed for your friend also!

Cleared Dec given FJO & EOD
Asked for earlier EOD in Jan got told no to finish & focus on grad degree.

Thank you! I will say I have some concern it will get cancelled before my EOD, and two years probation seems scary right now.

Same. I’m not sure what to do. Part of me thinks maybe getting it pushed back may be a smarter move. But I also eod next month

Will you let us know if something changes with your EOD or orientation? I’m expecting an FJO this week and and am naturally filled with anxiety over this situation.

I’ll share what I can, but I imagine the extent of my knowledge will be if I am rescinded/fired or not

I have heard nothing from the hiring manager lol. It’s all been through a recruiter. I am just playing it by ear.

Yeah, that’s concerning. I know a few people who joined the DIA last fall. I’ll post here if I hear from them. Although I really hope they’ll be spared because they’re really smart and competent.

New info today. Looks like they want to cut ~50-75k people, starting next week. A hiring freeze will be implemented next week as well.

Musk apparently sent a email today to all federal employees asking for a job update to what they did the past week, failure to do so would be treated like a resignation …;

This administration wants to eliminate the federal government IMO.
