Marijuana omission at the age of 17 now coming clean even after 7 year mark

Hello guys need some ideas as to what could happen. Heres my situation, i currently hold a secret clearance from DOD and will be picking up an LE job that requires the same clearance. In october 2018 as a young 15 year old i smoked weed less than 10 times and never picked it up again. In 2020 still 17 out of fear and being told i might not qualify for desired job i omitted this and did my job with no issues whatsoever. Fast forward march 2025 i renewed my SF86 and only changed my current address at the time and forgot to add any drug history. Fast forward SEP/OCT i submit 2 SF 86s for 2 agencies stating the weed use and just did my in person investigation with DCSA. She said shes heard of alot worse situations get approved but could still be sent over to an adjudicator.. She said the incident just went over 7 year mark but not the omission.. how likely am i to have my clearance flagged/suspended? I start my new job in 3 weeks..

That’s a tough one. Normally, you should list anything in-scope. But actives while underage could be an exception unless you were cited or charged, or police were involved, or there is a public record of it. I might follow the guidance below but that is for alcohol, not drugs. While most legal requirements are a bit different for minors, I do not know how it applies to clearance adjudication. @Marko or @lindy.kyzer should have a better answer for you.

Yeah, i know big mistake but i want to put it in the past since i want to do some real good and go 1811 l. The incident also happened in mexico since i traveled over occasionally living in a border town its almost normal to have family across.. that was disclosed already so i don’t see an issue there.
