HI Everyone,
I was just scheduled to begin my training as a 1099 investigator for a company and was told that I will be working on the DCSA contract. I have a large military base close to my house and was wondering if I will have any work assigned on the base (either military or civilian employees) or if that is a completely separate contract.
Any info regarding DCSA contract is greatly appreciated as I am getting ready to start this as a retirement gig after retiring from municipal public safety. Thank you
Yes, you should have work on the base.

good to know, thank you
DCSA provides the investigations for 95% of the federal government positions including military, civilian, contractors, consultants, etc. There are a few agencies that handle their own investigations but most are DCSA. You will talk to people from all walks of life. Take a look at the DCSA website and you can learn more about the agency.
Thank you for the info. I hear about all of the different contracts out there and was hoping to take advantage of living so close to an active military base. Appreciate your time in answering.
