Do any of the contract companies pay tou during training. I have heard it both ways.
They pay Employees not Contractors.
Yes, usually at a smaller wage like 15$ an hour. Two companies I spoke with who offer competitive pay, offer 14$ or 15$ an hour during the weeks of training before going overseas. If that is what you are referring to.
My company pays us a flat rate of $100 aday during training.
