Prior Drug Use Question

I am being considered for a job that requires a DOE level L clearance and have been researching information I will be required to provide.

I have a question about prior drug use. Does it reflect poorly if you have done a variety of substances? I partied like a rockstar when I was younger but I haven’t touched a thing for over 3 years. I have never been in trouble with the law with drugs.

Each case is judged on its own merits. Your age at the time, types of drugs, extent and period of use, how obtained, period of abstinence, disassociation with others who do drugs, etc… are all factors that have to be looked at to consider.
