I have maintained residency in the US for that last 16 years , owning a home as a us citizen. I have been also self employed for the last 7 years , as a contractor on international development assignments. In the last 5 years these contracts i have been on were USAID related assignments in Ghana my country of birth where i have always maintained a residence too and where my US citizen kids also live with thier mother. I recently was offered an onsite position in the US as a Business Analyst contractor and awaiting a public trust moderate level. Will the residency requirement affect me. I have no criminal or financial issues.
