Section 12 - need to list educational certificates?

Hi,

  1. I have received a couple of educational certificates for which I went to a university and attended “classes” for a couple of days and then received a certificate.

  2. I have attended a program that was taught by a university, on-site at my employer. Two weekends’ worth and I received a certificate.

  3. I have attended a single course that was taught by a university, on-site at my employer. Two days’ worth and I received a completion paper.

None of these seem relevant to Section 12, do I need to list these?

No. Degrees or diplomas only.

But you will need to report the school and time attended if you went to these schools - in residence or on line - within the reportable time frame. Don’t list the certificates as degrees or diplomas.

The employer sponsored education/training would not be listed unless you obtained college credit for those classes. Otherwise they are just employment training.
