I was wondering if someone knows what the average time for a clean Tier 1 investigation to go through.
My timeline:
06/2018 Accepted offer from a major defense contractor, DOD
deployment Medical/Dental cleared
07/2018 SF-85 submitted on eQIP, Army CoE released form to OPM
Tier 1 investigations run between 4-8 weeks but the adjudication timeline is the unceratin part as it depends on workload and priority.
A CAC can be issued upon the confirmation of a favorable FBI fingerprint check and the submission of the e-QIP application to OPM by the sponsoring agency.
