I have 2 separate job offers for 2 different government contracting companies. One job requires my TS secret clearance and the other would require a public trust. Will I be able to work both of these jobs without getting caught? There is no conflict of interest however, both clearances will be held under the same government agency, DHS, I believe. Please advise
Whichever job you get first, make sure you get approval to work a second job. It is not up to you to decide if there is a conflict of interest, the company has to make that call.
And the second company will have to sign off on it as well.
If you try to do it without informing anyone, you run the risk of being fired. And possibly a security violation or incident to boot.
The fact you believe it is okay to work two concurrent government contract positions without reporting them is a huge concern. Not reporting either employment, once you are hired for both, is grounds to lose both jobs.
