When do I select the “break in service” option, or do I need to select the “break in service” box when initiating an INITIAL clearance request… and if I do select “break in service” what will selecting it provide versus not selecting it???
I work in persec and when processing requests for reciprocity we look at breaks in service that are over 2 years… that may or may not apply to your situation.
A request for an initial clearance is asking for an interim clearance.
What if the break in service was a matter of 2 weeks from discharge to new company sending the CSR? im currently on 18 days waiting adjucation. I am just looking for any kind of insight.
Only matters if it’s over 2 years as I said above.
