Will I be able to apply for and get a medicinal marijuana card if I share a residence with somebody who has a Top Secret Security Clearance?

I am 19 year olds and due to certain health conditions, was planning on applying for a Medical Marijuana card. I just so happen to live with somebody who has a top secret level security clearance and am wondering if they could get in trouble by me having federally illegal substances in the same household? This person has had this level clearance for several decades. I had previously thought that Medicinal Marijuana was legal on a federal level, but I had just realized it wasn’t. I want to be 100% sure before I apply with my residence, as I’m sure there are many different rules and complications that go along with a security clearance, especially one that is top secret. You can never be too cautious. I really appreciate anybody who takes the time out of your day to help me.

As federal law currently stands, marijuana in the same household will likely cause issues. Here’s on old article on it: Living with a Medical Marijuana User While Holding a Security Clearance - ClearanceJobs
