I’m currently a gov’t contractor but want to pursue another job. I know I can’t hold two CTR CAC’s so I’d like to work a 2nd non-gov’t role. Has anyone done this before and can provide feedback?

Why can’t you have 2 government cac cards? As long as you aren’t committing time card fraud you should be fine.

You are able to hold multiple piv cards……

Could be a DoD restriction, some years back when I was both an Army Reservist and a DoD contractor, I could only have one CAC and it was the contractor CAC coz that’s what I used every day.

You can have two PIV cards.

The last I heard was you cannot have two CACs of the same type ie, CTR, DOD, MIL. I have two CACs now but they are different types.
