Appeal Decision

Got my 1st appeal and now they are trying to say i “shared classified information when i responded the appeal and sent over unclass network”.

They are saying that my connection to the IC is classified even though i’m never was in “protect” or “Clandestine” status. How absurd!

Plus, the appeal email they sent me has their logo in it! I affirmed that all this information is unclassified and that any names, employment are in my SSBI and none are classified. Agency names are not classified!

I was asked to sanitize them and i did most unless accusations made by certain ppl would hinder my case. Now they are asserting classified nature if unclass names or agency.

They are also moving the goalposts with regard to my psych eval. First they said i had some “undefined personality disorder”, but now it’s “well, he doesn’t have a personality disorder but…” This is classic “moving the goal post” behavior.

How do i defend myself from something that keeps changing? Not to mention all the other lies told by unreliable ppl that i felt i was able to defend and pointed them in the direction of where more info can be attained by another agency regarding said complaint.

Needless to say, they did not reachout to that agency to get mitigating information. Amazing!

Wow. Sucks. Sorry that happened. In this case, you probably need a lawyer. At the very least, that may keep them a bit more honest and not keep moving the goalpost.

Yeah, i think you’re right. Unfortunately can’t rely on the gov’t to be honest or competent.

Really want to work for them then?

At this point i think i just want my name cleared. I gave my entire adult life in service to this country and for them to question my “competency” pisses me off.

How do you defend yourself? You get an attorney.

Attorneys deal with government BS all day every day. If you have not contacted one, contact one as soon as you can. An attorney will be able raise concerns about the government not following proper procedures which will hopefully work out in your favor.
