I’m beginning the appeal process at my IC agency (I’m a staffer). I have a lawyer but am wondering if I should prepare for a job outside the IC. I have a lot of experience in training, communication, and other skills, and am weighing my options. Since I’m separated until the appeal process is resolved, I’m not sure how this would affect my prospects or what to put on my resume. Thank you!

You can do both. Prepare to move on while waiting on your appeal.

Do the appeal but look for another job in the mean time. Appeals take forever.
