Any thoughts on AI taking over background investigations?
Have you ever tried to use one of those “online help” chat tools on a website? You know, the ones that can’t seem to answer even the most basic questions?
AI has come a long way, but it still has quite a ways to go.
Yeah I’m not sure the technology is there yet. However, I’ve noticed I am doing more background investigations on people in the artificial intelligence field.

I work with these things. Think of them as just fancy predictive generators with a massive database of stuff to pick from to use. They just “guess” what words/pixels/whatever will come next based on the previous words and getting them not to make stuff up is really hard. They are nowhere near sentient. Jobs are safe for a long while still.
