If my offer is contingent on me obtaining a TS/SCI, when the investigator goes to interview my current manager, will the investigator tell my manager why I’m being investigated, who sponsored me, and what level of clearance I’m being sponsored for?
They will say they are are trying to determine your suitability to hold a job involving national security. Nothing more specific.
