I’ve accepted a contingent offer which requires a TS SCI. All my paperwork has been submitted to the government for my background investigation, however I want to pursue another opportunity that only requires a Secret clearance. If I decide to ultimately accept the role that only requires the Secret, what happens to my background investigation for the TS SCI?
