Sorry for the delay - been a long few weeks. Had the interview last week, as expected I was grilled on the polygraph section I failed. I don’t know if my answers were any good, and honestly the interview was pretty depressing. I was 100% honest, but was accused of withholding information/lying. I figure it’s about a coinflip as to whether I get cleared or not.

Hey sorry to hear about your experience. Mine was similar too. Some of it was focused on the unresolved poly and the rest just a rehash of security questions with some of them being entirely new and not on the form nor were covered in the background investigation. Left feeling a bit confused and mixed on the likelihood clearance will be granted. They did say this was basically the end of the process before a determination is made.

I remember seeing a response to an old reddit thread that this was for the SCI portion of the clearance but honestly who knows. Did they offer the possibility to do another poly?

They also flirted an idea of a 3rd poly. I think regardless we aren’t hearing back for a minute.

congrats! did you get a call or did the portal update? also, did they discuss fjo and eod or just notified you about the clearance
im assuming they didnt provide a timeframe when that would happen? well anyways congrats! I hope you hear back soon and its a smooth process from here on out. i’ll just be here refreshing my portal until a call lol

ive also received a call for this - but too short of a notice to come in, so now I have to wait for another time to set up. sounds nerve wrecking…
It’s a little nervewracking but you already know what to do. Go in, answer their questions honestly, and you’ll probably be fine. If it was something that would disqualify you, you’d already have an SOR.
Good to know. SOR is the biggest fear, but also being denied would suck, too. Not sure if anyone knows a timeline for a SOR being given?

Did they start your BI after your poly? I had my poly stuff over their 2-day visit but my BI still hasn’t kicked off. I recently cleared medical. I think my stuff moved fairly fast. Interview May, COE May, on-site June. I might be ahead of the investigator given how fast I moved.. but no updates still “actively processing”
