I have a friend who had a messy divorce or 3, has been publicly intoxicated - noted in police reports that he raped someone, but she didn’t press charges bc he paid her off, and the veterans charities he ran went into debt before he was fired. His mother said he is a serial abuser of women, but has been reformed. He also holds some controversial views, like women are too weak for combat. But it’s America right? It’s not like he said the military should be used against citizens (cough). So what are his chances to go TSSCI SAP STOW Q etc?
What agency is he applying to? Asking for a friend…
I believe it’s the one with the tanks, planes, ships and 3m ppl in colorful pj’s.
Great! I’ll let me friend know to avoid joining the Papal Swiss Guards any time soon. Thanks for the heads-up.
Gut gespielt, mein Herr.
Jokes aside, sounds like you friend has lots of demons. Ignoring (for now) the crazy amount of time it would probably take for investigation and adjudication, does your friend REALLY want to rehash all that stuff and explain it to the investigators? Then have the people who he divorced, raped (allegedly) or abused tell the investigators what they really think of him?
Personally, I would take some time to resolve those issues then find a career that doesn’t require being investigated. But that’s just me. Best of luck to your friend.
Thx. I was describing the current secdef nominee to make the point that the system has double standards.
Ahhh. I haven’t been following. Thanks for explaining.
