After the interview with investigator, it has been 5 weeks, but I have not heard anything about the clearance. How do I know that I am cleared? (I joined the job and the agency gave me a permanent badge.)
A badge has nothing to do with a clearance. If you were given a security briefing and had to sign a non-disclosure statement (SF-312) then you have an active clearance.
No news is good news, now stop worrying and go to work.
