Denied secret clearance and was new job requires secret clearance

I was denied a secret clearance from the DOD CAF in March 2019 due to financial reasons and I would like to know when I can apply for positions with a secret clearance. I think I will be offered a position that requires a secret clearance and I’m afraid I won’t get the position because of my clearance being denied.

The biggest thing will be did you take care of the financial issues that got you denied?

If so I believe there is a one year waiting period from when you were denied a clearance. And don’t forget to list the denied one on the SF86

Sorry to hear the bad news. May I ask what kind of financial issues that caused your denial? Were you denied due to delinquent debt or total amount of debt?
