About 15 years ago, I was just out of the military, young, single and rudderless in life. I partied too much and got into a little trouble. I was arrested twice - DUI and disturbing the peace. All charges were expunged from my record and I’ve had no problems since. Today, I am a happily married, highly-educated professional.
I have an upcoming interview with DIA for a position that requires TS/SCI clearance. Experts have assured me that time and lifestyle changes should mitigate these issues for security clearance; however, my concern is about suitability. Does anyone know if DIA will accept me?
