I was honorably discharged from the Navy 22 years ago for alcohol abuse rehabilitation failure. I obviously lost the clearance that I had then. Will this keep me from getting a clearance now?
Nothing that happened 22 years ago is an issue unless the alcohol abuse is still present. You will still have to disclose the clearance information on the SF86 but it is mitigated by time.
