I currently hold DoD TS clearance and I’m in a situation where I need to file a police and CPS (child protection services) report against my wife who has demonstrated acts of violence around our children and myself.
What effects could these reports have on my clearance if any? I know I need to file, but I’m afraid of getting my clearance yanked if the police or a CPS case worker shows up.
If you haven’t done anything wrong you have nothing to worry about except protecting your children
Do the right thing, report honestly. Keep hurt feel8ngs with wife out of how you frame it. I would report to security manager your contact with police and court system. Your children are whats important.
