Hello,
As I am preparing to submit my SF86, in section 26 do I need to list credit card that has been charged off that has not been on collections? It has been charged off for 5 years. It is passed the Situate of limitation and not planning on repaying it. The only items I am currently paying or has been paid it’s the accounts that’s on collection. Will that affect my eligibility for clearance as well?
Read the instructions closely. If the instructions mention accounts that have been charged off in the last 7 years then yes it needs to be listed.
Yes, it needs to be listed. You might also revisit having no intentions to repay, because the government considers it to be unresolved debt.

I started to post a similar reply and then opted to encourage reading the instructions that literally use the exact term “charge off”.
