I just finished my sf86 the other day, and it just dawned upon me that I had something go to collections 10 years ago. I had a bill go to collections in 2012 and had no intentions of paying it off due to the circumstances behind it. I think it finally fell off of my credit history in 2016 or 2017?? Looking through credit karma I can not find any history on it since it’s not there anymore. Although it went to collections 10 years ago, it was technically on my credit within the past 7 years, I believe. Does anyone know where I can access my history when it comes to collections?? Also, should I reach out to my security team at work and see if I can fix my mistake if it’s not too late??
