So I have to go get a FS poly. I was pretty wild in high school and did something that was not good. That was 14 years ago. Basically I want to know what would cause me to fail the test and have my clearance revoked/suspended? I know drug use is one issue but does anybody know anything else?

The first thing that comes to mind is being dishonest or less than candid. Just answer whatever questions they ask honestly and stuff that happened 14 years ago usually can be mitigated.
Ok I see. I tend to over think things. I had plan on telling them all of my “sins” up front, but I am not sure if that is a good idea or not.
